A classically trained pianist, Nadhira has over the years moved into various directions including rock, blues, soul and R&B. She’s released 2 albums (2010 & 2011) and an EP (2017). 2018 saw the release of her single, ‘Hold Me Down ft. SXPH’
We sat down with the lovely Nadhira for a quick chat to know a little more about herself, her music and her future goals.
I was in total awe when I saw my cousin play "Fur Elise" at about the age of 5 or 6. It was not until 8 years old where my dad sent me out to learn the piano and I was so excited as a kid. I continued playing it until I was 15 or 16 up to grade 7 then I quit before I made it to grade 8. I'm not going to go on about why I quit but I wish I didn't!
Lately I do it at night when my son is asleep because there is no way I am able to play it while he is awake without him disturbing me!
One day, I would love to Skydive at Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand. That's my bucket list. Oh and to witness the northern lights in Canada too.
CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS WISELY. I want to tell my mini me that no matter what rough patches I go through, it's never the end of the world.
I want to tell all the young girls out there to never let anyone disrespect you or abuse your mental, emotional and physical. Respect yourself and don't give nude pictures to your boyfriend even if they tell you they "love" you. There are way too many psychos out there that can use things like that against you once they've had you and used you. So please, girls.... LOVE YOURSELF AND [BELIEVE IN] YOUR SELF WORTH.
Watch Nadhira’s mesmerizing performance only on AirAsia REDTIX 30th July 2020!
