Ah the sanctity of marriage, or at least for the ones that do last.
Watching celebrities in movies and TV shows, we often wonder if they’re married in real life. Sometimes, we even assume they’re not.
Airasia Redtix did a deep dive into the all-knowing Internet, and found out about the celebrities we bet you didn’t know were actually married. I mean, how could you? Until awhile ago, we were clueless ourselves!
Check our list out.

1. Leighton Meester

Wait a minute, Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl is married?! Yep, the beautiful actress got married 6 years ago to none other than ‘Shazam’ superhero Adam Brody. They tied the knot in 2014 and have been inseparable ever since. Shortly after that, in 2015 the couple gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Arlo Day Brody. Then recently this year in April, they announced Meester’s new pregnancy on baby number 2!
 

2. Jason Momoa

That’s right ladies, this Aquaman is no longer an available fish in the sea! Married to actress Lisa Bonet since 2017, the two had actually started a relationship long before that, in 2007. Upon marrying Lisa, Momoa officially became the stepfather of famous actress Zoe Kravitz. The two have since brought a girl and a boy into the world in the years 2007 and 2008.
 

3. Cobie Smulders

Known for her prominent role on the comedy sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and the many other films (mostly Marvel) she has starred in; we were surprised when we found out that Cobie Smulders was actually married! She walked down the aisle right into the arms of Taran Killam in 2012. The talented actress and hubby have since happily attained two baby girls in 2009 and 2015.
 

4. Kerry Washington

The Scandal actress said ‘I do’ in 2013, when she married NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha in Idaho. The two met a long time ago when Washington was still on Broadway. Keeping first their relationship and then their marriage on the down-low, the two have since raised three daughters, even the one from Nnamdi’s previous marriage.
 

5. Jim Parsons

Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons finally became a husband in May 2017 when he hitched his long-time beau Todd Spiewalk. The couple had been dating for 15 years and Parsons always regarded marriage as an idea that ‘couldn’t be’ for them. Eventually, that changed and he decided to make them official at the Red Room in New York City whilst wearing dapper suit Ford jackets!
 

6. Dave Franco

Now you see him, now you don’t! Becoming husband and wife in 2017, Dave Franco wed Alison Brie only three years ago, in what was said to be a private ceremony. The two started dating in 2011, and kept their relationship under wraps. Then in 2015, they got engaged, followed by marriage after that. Not wanting children, the two on the other hand have two cats they very much adore!
 

7. Margot Robbie

Harley Quinn is married and it’s not to the Joker! Meeting British assistant director Tom Ackerley in 2014, the two shacked up with a private ceremony in 2016 at New South Wales. They previously lived in London before moving to Los Angeles. Rumors have since been circling the actress’ potential pregnancy, but given the fierce sense of privacy, I guess we won’t know till official announcements!
 

8. Ryan Reynolds

This hilarious and excruciatingly handsome ‘Deadpool’ actor scored the jackpot when he married gorgeous star Blake Lively. The two started dating in 2011, after starring opposite each other in Reynolds’ ‘Green Lantern’. Joining in wedlock in 2012, the two have been one of Hollywood’s power couple and have also since gotten three daughters named James, Inez and Betty.
 

9. Sofia Vergara

Married since 2015, Sofia Vergara pinned down husband Joe Manganiello when he first spotted her in 2014. Thinking it wouldn’t work, the two attempted their best to stay away from each other. But, apparently what God has brought together, no man shall pull apart. In front of 400 guests, the two said ‘I do’ to each other and have been going strong ever since!

10. Chad Michael Murray

Eye-candy Chad Michael Murray got married in 2015 to actress Sarah Roemer. Since tying the knot, the two have had both a son and a daughter. Separating from his first two wives, it was obvious that third time was the charm for this Prince Charming!
 

11. Kate Winslet

Another third-time’s-the-charm, Kate Winslet got happy ever after she married now husband Edward Abel Smith in 2012. Despite the ex-husbands and having an unconventional family, the Titanic actress has found a way to make the dynamic work, remain happy and above all never give up, exactly like how she promised Jack.
