Sunburn to Djakarta Warehouse Project, and Ultra Singapore to It’s the Ship Festival: Asia’s ever-present music scene is delivering an array of Electronic Dance Music Festivals in 2019.

Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), commonly known as EDC, is an international electronic dance music festival that has found a new home in Tokyo, with its flagship event held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The secret behind the popularity and success of EDC Japan is the “multi-sensory experience” they deliver through their top-stage production which boasts a 238-feet wide, 91-feet tall stage, circus acts, and interactive art. As well as being able to host it at the naturesque Makuhari Beach Park.

Imagine a festival on one of the seven wonders of the world?

Billed as South East Asia’s biggest dance party, last year it attracted crowds in excess of 90,000 from all over the globe. 2018 saw DWP take their 10th edition of the festival to new heights and a new location - the GWK Cultural Park on the magical island of Bali. Although, this was a special occasion and the 2019 edition will see the festival move back to its original home in Jakarta.
