After taking an excruciatingly long break from mass gatherings due to the global pandemic, things are finally starting to look normal again, or at least the closest to what a normal could look like today.
Based on local news reports, Genting Highlands will be having their first ever concert since the MCO.
To be held live in Resorts World Genting, on September 11th at 8.30 pm, performers will be none other than Jeryl and Masya 'My Sista'!
Together and individually, these two, who sing in multiple languages including Mandarin-have become household names both in Malaysia and in China, from their active participation in singing competitions.
But I know what you’re thinking, “what about fear of dying”?
Fret not, because we’re all still very aware of the deadly virus we’re living with. In fact, for that very reason, this concert has been said to follow strict standard operational procedures, when it takes place.
The concert organizer will be carrying out government-required safety measures, before, during and after the concert. For instance, temperature screening upon entering, wearing a face mask at all times and checking in via the MySejahtera app.
Venue wise, the seats will be marked and arranged according to social distancing rules. Concertgoers under 12 and over 60 years of age have also been discouraged from attending.
Tickets have been priced at RM356, RM186, and RM106. They have also already gone on sale with promotions for the early birds.
